WordPress Tricks/TutorialsI just found a great tutorial on tweaking your current theme to be fully compatible with the recently released WordPress 3.0. As I have just recently upgraded the blog to 3.0, I’m sure to be tweaking my template’s code to match. (Note: Some coding experience is needed)

One of the things that were demoed to us during the 2-day “training” course was developing a WPF application for use with Silverlight. I was once again given the opportunity to use my chainsaw to sculpt porcelain. Looked around for tutorials again to supplement what was being taught and I stumble on this nifty site.

Was recently assigned to a project where my colleages where developing an application using DotNetNuke. I was tasked (being the resident designer), to create skins using CSS. 

Having majored in Fine Arts/Visual Communication, programming and scripting aren’t really my specialties, but recently I’ve been doing a lot more projects involving Actionscript, PHP/MySQL, ASP, and Flex so I felt the need of retooling myself to at least understand what my team mates are talking about. A recent addition was DotNetNuke, a CMS running on ASP.NET.

So feeling up to the challenge, I went about researching, with Google as my friend and companion. I’m going to be posting links on what I find here, just in case someone stumbles in.

Here’s a good place to start if you want to start building DNN skins of your own.
